"served with oven cooked polenta. added sausage, red pepper flakes, some cherry tomatoes halved, toasted pine nuts. Forgot the vinegar. It was very good. I think it didn't need the sausage but it made Lawrence happy." - betty
  • 1 cup polenta
  • Salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped or pressed
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/3 cup water or chicken broth
  • 3 slices of prosciutto, cut into strips (optional)
