Materials
- 8 x 10 sheet of cardstock
- washable paint in your favorite Valentine color
- small photo of child
- 3 x 5 sheet of patterned scrapbook paper
- print the following poem:
Children have a certain way,
of growing bigger every day.
But these little hands
and this special smile
will stay in your heart
a long, long while
Happy Valentine's Day
Directions
- cover child's hands generously with the paint
- stamp the child's hand prints onto the card stock a little off to one side forming a heart shape
- Place the sheet of scrapbook paper in the bottom corner of the cardstock with the printed poem in the center of it
- Place the photo of the child in the center of the hand stamped heart
- Place in a frame and give to someone you love for Valentine's Day
