Valentine Snow Globes
Materials
- One 8 oz plastic water bottle with lid
- Water
- Liquid glycerin
- Assorted Valentine sequins, non paper confetti(you can make your own by using small paper punches and punching out shapes from any plastic material), seed beads, glitter
- Red food coloring (use VERY little or it will be too much color in the water)
- Ribbon or lace
Directions
- Fill the bottle ¾ of the way with water.
- Using a medicine dropper add about 5 ml of the liquid glycerin.
- Have the kids add whatever sparkle they want to the bottle.
- Add teeny tiny drop of food coloring (not necessary, if you do use it use very little!)
- Put the lid on the bottle, making sure it is very tight.
- Decorate the top of the bottle by tying ribbons or lace around the lid. Attach a gift tag with a special “I Love You” message.
- Shake it up and watch it swirl.
