Broccoli-Tuna Casserole

- 1 package (16 ounces) penne pasta
- 3 cups Homemade White Sauce
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup frozen broccoli
- 1 can (6 ounces) tuna, in water
- 1 tomato
- 1/2 head romaine lettuce
- 1 cup homemade Basic Vinaigrette dressing
In a large pot, cook the pasta according to the package directions. Add the frozen broccoli to the pasta water and cook, along with the pasta, for 4 to 5 minutes. Drain the pasta and broccoli and return it to the pot.
In a small saucepan, prepare the white sauce.
Add the tuna to the sauce and stir to combine
Add teh tuna sauce to the pasta and broccoli in the pot. Stir and let simmer until the sauce has reached the desired consistency.
Dice the tomato. Chop the romaine lettuece with a plastic lettuce knife to prevent browning. Make the vinaigrettte dressing. Just before serving toss with the romaine salad.
Serve Broccoli-Tuna Casserole with Romaine Salad.
