Herbs to taste (she uses a mixture of dried oregano, basil and rosemary)
Drain tomatoes. Add to blender or food processor. Add 2 peeled cloves of garlic and herbs. Blend until smooth. Drain it again using a fine sieve or a coffee filter for 30-45 minutes. If using Italian sausage, brown and crumble over pizza. On the pizza pictured, this sauce was topped with mozzarella cheese, sausage and sliced onion.
